I'm home. I'm back at my favorite place to be. Today was a day filled with every kind of emotion.
I had my heart filled and broken. I let my guard down and my fists up. I performed and I was emotional as real and raw as I could be with someone. I said a goodbye and I also welcomed in newness into my life. All today. In 1 day.
I got to come home at the end of it to this beautiful home in the hills overlooking LA. I stood outside my house and looked at my tree I decorated and I just screamed out a howl of excitement and loss at the same moment. I know it's crazy but it's true. I'm sure as it echoed through he night my neighbors believed a creature was transforming in the moonlight.
Every year I promise myself I won't carry anything until the following year that I no longer need or no longer enhances my life.
In one day I let so much go and embraced the new.
I fucking love my home. I dreamed of this place my whole life. I live my dreams and I get to do it all again tomorrow. Goodnight to all.
