I just finished decorating my Christmas tree and home. It's really merry and bright. Got some xmas jams playing and some holiday candles stinkin' up the joint. I was reminiscing about past holiday gatherings and some of the people that were in my life. Some simply passed through it, others interrupted it and several enhanced it. I appreciate all of them even though a couple were utter garbage. That said -- I just wanna fa-la-la-laaaaaa myself for a few and then eat something yummy and watch a movie here under a blanket covered in gumdrops and lollipops (embroidered not actual food items). Have a good night to all. I've been a bad boy with a good heart this year (same as every year) and I hope Santa (me) gets me something great this year (yup) because life is too short.
On a serious note.... today I almost died. Long story and it was scary as no gravy at Christmas dinner but after it happened I was shaken up like a snow globe. I sat on the side of the road and thought of all the people that I have not spoken to and what would they think if I didn't make it. It was kinda brutal to realize how many people just don't care and I almost cried but then I realized I was just hungry and was low blood sugar and didn't give a shit as much as I thought so ...
