Hey friends! Trisha from @goeatyourbeets here, continuing my takeover for @Simple Green Smoothies!
Something my kids & I love to eat in the morning is Chia Seed Cereal! It's easy, doesn't require any cooking & the best part is - you can dress it up fancy with any toppings you like!
CHIA SEED BREAKFAST CEREAL

Ingredients:
Mason Jar
1 Cup of Milk (almond, coconut, etc)
4 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Green Apple, chopped
Optional toppings: Honey or Maple Syrup, Fresh Fruit like Bananas, Green Apples, Strawberries, Blueberries, Pomegranate Seeds, Nuts (chopped), Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

Method:
In a mason jar, combine 1 cup of milk (of choice) & 4 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds. Add Vanilla, Cinnamon & Green Apple.

Cover with a tight lid & shake the mixture until it's well combined.

Refrigerate overnight (or for at least 6 hours). The next morning, shake or stir the mixture & divide mixture between 2-3 bowls.

Top with sweetener, fresh fruit, coconut shreds or nuts & enjoy!
