If you are lucky enough to make the trek out to the Ruth Glacier in Denali National Park, you’ll find yourself blown away by the stunning vistas you’ll encounter there. There really is something special about Denali; I’ve traveled all over the world, but it is truly one of the most solemnly beautiful landscapes I’ve ever been in. The sound of the cracking glaciers would travel from one side of the valley and resonate off the mountain faces all the way back and right through you. Here, a lone backcountry skier treks through the Ruth Glacier in search of new runs.
