My final stop on today's donations was to Youth Concern Aylesbury where I took a whole trolley full of treats to homeless young people, they asked for chocolates, sweets, mince pies and festive treats and I also found some lovely perfume. We can all too easily take for granted the fact that we have parents, a warm bed and family to come home to. To think that these young people have nowhere to go and nobody to love them breaks my heart. Whilst my son was playing ping pong with some of the attendees a wonderful girl asked if she could have a bottle of perfume for which is bought an entire box and I said of course, I've never seen somebody so ecstatic and thankful. To some these treats may seem like nothing, everyday items to add to your basket or pick up from a petrol station but to these inspirational young adults they are a message of hope and appreciation. I believe that we can all achieve great things and your support and kind donations have helped me to help others, I now end my day of good deeds with my heart swollen from helping such wonderful charities and causes.
