The Autoprogrettazione manual was created by Italian designer Enzo Mari in 1974 as a design guide to a collection of furniture that could be assembled from the most basic materials.
Now the Berlin-based initiative @cucularefugeescompany redesign and sell his Autoprogettazione furniture to raise funds for its refugee support programme. We think it is a wonderful initiative and look forward to this evolution of the Autoprogettazione series. Regardless of this fantastic project, Artek has been manufacturing Enzo Mari’s Sedia 1 since 2010 and continues doing so.
