When it topped out this time last year, 432 Park Ave. became the tallest building in the Manhattan, if you discount the spire on the top of One World Trade Center. For the moment it seems to be the building that everyone loves to hate, but the same was true for the first years of many super tall structures, even the Eiffel Tower. 432 Park will only enjoy these bragging rights for only a short while, as a new crop of ultra tall and super thin buildings are on the rise.
