You don’t see this everyday. Yesterday we had two hurricane force lows over the North Pacific; one a frontal low over the Aleutian Islands, and the other Major Hurricane Sandra. The Aleutian low is teeing up a solid round of swell for Hawaii and the West Coast over this weekend into early next week. This swell will, unfortunately, be selective and show less size for SoCal due to the approach angle. Sandra will not be a major swell maker for the West Coast, as the storm never got fully out of the Baja shadow, though select breaks through SoCal will pull in a few fun waves over the weekend. @sperrysurfline
