The endless single track was probably what I remember most about the town of Zermatt. Steep trails with mountain views on every side that led down from every ridge and ended in the valley below. We spent a freezing night camping along the edge of the apline lake Riffellsee and hit the trail down just after the sunrise. I'm not gonna lie.. It feels like cheating when you get to ride the Funicular train up the mountain.
