Being a professional photographer doesn’t mean you always have everything dialed. Sometimes you find yourself totally unprepared, like this experience here in Switzerland where I was sitting by the side of a train track in the rain with no tripod & perfect clouds for a time-lapse. So I just made it work. I folded a sock & laid my camera down for an hour hoping it was stable. Gear is a funny thing, I try my best to bring less and less but sometimes you wish you had it all with you. I made a couple videos that laid out what I actually bring on a trip. Its almost my entire kit. Including cameras, tripods, clothes, tents. etc etc.
