As an Adventure photographer I have always been drawn to Wild places, the ones that truly give you a sense awe. Alaska was an easy choice for my list of favorite places to photograph. The depth of the landscape is hard to compare to anywhere else I have been.
I had planned to spend some time in Denali National Park but felt like I wasn't truly going to do it justice without spending some time on the glacier. We had heard rumors of this small mountain hut built by famed bush pilot Don Sheldon. He had strapped timber to his Cessna wings and built this hut trip by trip. It has served as a launching point for many adventures: Climbing , skiing, and exploring the Alaska ranges many glaciers. For my entire list of locations see the profile link.
