I'm #grateful for rain and seasons. Growing up in MN where there were four very obvious seasons I appreciated what each one provided. What opportunities and activities I could enjoy, whether it was a crisp run in the woods with the foliage changing, cross country skiing with pillows of snow nestled amongst the tree branches I slid past, walking through neighborhoods and observing flowers awakening and blossoming with their radiant colors or cannonballing off a dock into one of the 10,000 lakes that inhabited my state.
But living in LA where weather and seasons are mild it's easy to lose track of the passing of time and the motivation that it provides to finish x,y,z up before the next shift happens.
So as I wake from my slumber and hear the raindrops dancing on the rooftop I am #grateful #Thankful that today I can indulge in warm beverages and roaring fires while snuggled in cozy blankets, listening and watching the beauty of nature renewing itself with a delicate shower.
