After watching the incredible @merufilm by @Jimmy_Chin, I am reminded of one of my own adventures with three of its superstars: mountaineers @コンラッド・アンカー, the late #AlexLowe and @krakauernotwriting. Here Conrad rappels off a lonely mountain called "The Troll's Castle" in remote Queen Maud Land, #Antarctica, after he, Alex and Jon completed the first ascent. The tracks on the spire in the background were made by a film crew and me, who jokingly named it "Media Peak" because of its ringside seat of the Troll’s Castle. #expedition #mountaineering #climbing #exploration #neverstopexploring @graberproductions
