“Adventure is worthwhile in itself.” — Amelia Earhart ---------------------------------------------- Last week, my friend Dan and I hopped on bikes and rode over the Golden Gate Bridge up to peaceful Mill Valley. We took a break in the redwood forest, then headed over to #Sausalito for fish and chips… and a ferry ride back to #SanFrancisco.
My body ached (everywhere), I was starving, I was tired. If I had listened to my body, I would have stopped riding before I even made it to the Golden Gate Bridge. There was even a few times when I was dreaming about an #Uber coming to pick us up. But I chose to listen to my heart and mind— which were craving adventure.
We encouraged each other along the way... and whined together along the way Yet we were in this together— and knowing that made a huge difference. We succeeded in what we set out to do because we were in it together.
