#Throwback to about 18 months ago, and now.
In the first picture, I remember coming back from the medical unit after a day of blood work and IV's. This was a usual part of my life back then, but this appointment was especially special- I was the one who arranged them. I initiated my recovery.
I called my doctor, I asked for subsequent medical assessments, and I became an agent of my own wellbeing.
I came home later that day, and took this picture for my future self to reflect on.
It whispers a promise I will always keep;
