It all started when the Spanish photographer @bego_anton stumbled upon a @YouTube video that showed a woman and a golden retriever dancing to music from “Grease.” A little online sleuthing followed, and the next thing @bego_anton knew she was lost in the world of musical canine freestyle — which she describes as “a choreographed performance in which a dog and a human move to music together.” Among her subjects was Frances, pictured here, and her dog Candy, who live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This #nytweekender, we’ll be sharing more of @bego_anton’s photos of humans dancing with their dogs. Or should we say dogs dancing with their humans? #dancingdog #??
