Today I had család él örökké tattooed onto the top of my thigh which is Hungarian for 'family lives forever' and I love it so much. I've had such a wonderful 28th birthday and want to say a great big heartfelt thank you to everybody who has wished me a happy birthday, given gifts and spent time with me. Your love is so priceless to me it keeps me smiling and trying harder each and everyday. Just a few years ago I became a single parent at the age of 25 and I was devastated, heartbroken and petrified of being alone with my two young children. I didn't think that anybody would be kind, compassionate or ever love me again because as so many people say, being a single parent is relationship baggage. But over these past 3 years I've come to understand my worth as an individual, find my feet as a strong independent woman and lose the guilt of a broken family. My children are my world, everything I do is to better our lives as a little family just them and I and the words "family lives forever" written in Hungarian to symbolise my heritage just captures my heart and soul so perfectly.
