I made my mom’s chicken livers, done Tuscan style, Serve warm, coarsely ground. Her secret: lots of butter, tons of onion, and a little bit of thyme and brandy. Serve with crispy Tuscan bread, drizzle of olive oil. Serve with fresh bay. This is my sister’s Citrus Polenta Cake.
