The Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, designed by architect Peter Eisenman and engineer Buro Happold, is officially known as the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Seen here from a rare vantage point, the memorial intends to produce a confusing and uneasy atmosphere for visitors. The sculpture as a whole represents a supposedly ordered system that has lost touch with human reason.
