Day 6: Sarchasm is complete! After falling so close to the top the previous session, I had the confidence that I was capable and that my beta was dialed. Even so, my nerves ran high as we hiked up yesterday beneath a cloudy sky and stormy forecast. For the first few morning attempts, my mind got the best of me. I was falling low and making unnecessary mistakes. I felt unstable on the arête because of the strong winds whipping all around me, but even more disconcerting was the instability of my mind, and the immense pressure I put on myself. With @arjandekock's help, I regained a bit of composure and confidence, hopped on for a fourth attempt, and fought my way to the top. @ダニエル・ウッズ followed suit with another send, and Sarchasm was a project no more! Yet another great example of the ups and downs of projecting - the good ones are always worth the battle.
