This lift was not for me it was for my coaches, my team, my sponsors & my fans. This is the ONLY clean and jerk i made today. The last successful warm up i did was a power clean & jerk at 70kg. I did not get any other cleans racked or up in the back and came out sobbing when they called my name. I was not going to crumble. I am proud to have my first National total under my belt and to have shared the platform with former and now current National Champions. I worked hard to get here and my best did not come out today...i will find a way to be okay with that. Huge thank you to @ccb58kg for her kind words afterwards- someone i have looked up to since my first day touching a barbell- i told her a year ago i would lift with her one day and today i did just that. #repost @heidiplatow with @repostapp.
