Ok I think it's time we get deep here, and I don't want to send a dark cloud to ruin your day, more a fresh breeze to cast open the blue skies and let the sunshine through. I think a lot of people in life are scared to be alone, and that's ok because we all have fears. But I constantly see couples arguing, flirting with other people, cheating and wishing that they could be happy or find someone better. To go to bed with somebody who doesn't love you, wake up next to a partner that wishes they could find better or younger or slimmer or prettier, that's horrible and nobody deserves that, why waste your life on that? I have a super king size bed to myself and an engagement ring in a box gathering dust after a several year engagement ended like a puff of smoke because sometimes people can't be responsible enough to live as part of a family. But when I get into my bed alone at night I love shaking off my clothes and jumping butt naked into my cold sheets. And you know why? Because fresh sheets on soapy clean skin feels so good, but most importantly there's no lump in my throat, no ache in my heart and no worry keeping me awake at night that the man next to me might be thinking about and sending messages to someone else, falling out of love with me or blaming me for the responsibilities of parenthood. There's just me and my cold pile of pillows, curled up sleeping like a baby.
