1 of 18 I'm very proud to have worked on story for @SportsIllustrated with @Bradpix (Brad Smith director of Photography) for the magazine on the 25th Anniversary of the publication of Friday Night Lights.

Recreating the cover of three players walking to center field for the coin toss was the idea. We wanted to see the men as they are today. Thank you Ivory Christian, Brian Chavez and Mike Winchell.
Working on the original book started my career working in magazines, it was the first major project to make it to print for a national publication.
@Buzz_Bissinger 's book continues to resonate 25th years later. His essay in Sports Illustrated is moving and beautiful in it's honesty. The players have gone onto lives of merit outside of the glare of the stadium lights. Without to much bias, I can say, the essay is one of the best articles I have read in along time.
