This is another of the insects that I was able to photograph @nfinsectarium in New Foundland.
The Thailand winged stick insect (Sipyloidea sp.) flees rapidly from a disturbance by jumping forwards when stimulated on the abdomen and backwards when stimulated on the head.

They are unusual in that stick insects which have wings as adults and glue their eggs onto rough surfaces, the Hatch Mats are ideal. Parthenogenetic (all females). #bugs #insects
