A couple takes a selfie in front of the most famous mural on the Berlin Wall, called "The Kiss of Death" by artist Dmitri Vrubel, depicting the late Soviet Premier Leonid Brezhnev kissing his East German counterpart, Erich Honecker.
The East Side Gallery, a 1.3 km long section of the Berlin Wall which once circled West Berlin, is now an international memorial for freedom. The paintings document a time of change and express hopes for a better, more open future for the entire world.
