I just had a dream with this idea. How 'bout I give the first 10 AVMA members, who are going to the AVMA Convention in Boston next week, one of my T-shirts so they can wear them there and spread the word that vets should stop declawing and that the declawing of domestic cats should be condemned by the AVMA like they did for exotic cats in 2013. How about if you are someone who rises to the top of your profession and gives them a subtle lesson on doing the right thing and how taking the veterinary oath means to heal and protect animals and not harm and disable them. Please send me a personal note and show proof that you are attending the convention and I will mail you one of these. I need to mail them out by tomorrow so let me know today or early tomorrow. You can be a part of cat history and remind all those veterinarians and AVMA peeps to do the right thing and stop declawing, like their colleagues in the UK and 27 other countries have done.
