After a four-year wait, the group’s third album, “How Big How Blue How Beautiful,” was just released. They will tour widely this summer, including stops at major festivals like @govballnyc, which is this weekend. “So much of this new record was about stripping down layers of things to hide behind — big sounds, big dresses, metaphor,” @フローレンス・アンド・ザ・マシーン said in a recent @ニューヨーク・タイムズ interview. “There’s something kind of nice about being able to do these shows acoustic and stripped-down. You’re forced to be yourself, your absolute self.”
