Happy Memorial Day! We all have so much to be grateful for. Lots of military in my family's history. This is my grandfather, Col. William J. Johnson, Jr. He flew P-40's & P-51's in WWII, during which he was shot down twice in China and rescued by locals. During the Korean War he flew F-86 Saber Jets. He died when I a child, before I had a chance to get to know him. But I've loved hearing his stories from my Dad, rummaging through all his war memorabilia & visiting the old military cemetery where he is buried. Thanks to everyone who has served, or is serving today!
