“Calling all succulent and cactus lovers,” wrote @bengiville, inspired by a recent visit to @ニューヨーク植物園. “Frida Kahlo: Art, Garden, Life,” a new show at the garden, includes a facsimile of the tiered pyramid that Kahlo and Diego Rivera installed at Casa Azul in Mexico City to display Rivera’s collection of pre-Hispanic artifacts. But this pyramid is stocked with cactuses and succulent plants in terra-cotta pots. There are winsome little fellows no bigger than a Ping-Pong ball, and statuesque columnar cactuses and pumpkin-size cactuses bristling with nail-like spines. The exhibition runs through Nov. 1. #regram
