I've waited my whole life to see these types of conditions in the Valley floor.. Fog moving in and out like gentle waves.
The hard part is you have to go when the weather looks bad... This day was cloudy with a chance of rain or snow and there was a good chance we were gonna get skunked..but we went anyway. Glad we did.
