The farmer we visit each Sunday had a surprise this week - the first spring asparagus off his fields! I bought all the bunches and a few other organic offerings. Today I served asparagus lightly poached with a salty saffron yogurt sauce, chive blossoms, chopped eggs, a crusty baguette & crips white wine. #bankholidayfeast
