A #hobonichi entry in honour of my mother's birthday (it was yesterday)! I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours for the majority of this piece. I only have six pans from their Little Red Gift Box (which comes with a water brush pen and a fine point brush pen in black ink). I must say that I LOVE the texture, brilliance, colour and shine of these paints. The 36 colour pan set from Kuretake is officially at the top of my wish list. I also used Sennelier watercolours, which are made with honey, and I love just as much as the Kuretake Gansai Tambi set. Their colours are so rich and brilliant, and just a joy to create with.
