Aboubacar Sidiki Cisse, 25, a security guard from Conakry, #Guinea. Aboubacar arrived in the U.S. on Sept. 10, 2014. “I live in Staten Island now,” he said. “It’s not as dense as in Manhattan, and there are trees. In order to go to Manhattan, I have to take the ferry — it was the first time I rode the boat. In Guinea, boats were only for fishing, so I never went on a boat.” Aboubacar was photographed by @jr, who prints large-scale photos of his subjects and pastes them onto rooftops, edifices, shipping containers, streetscapes and more.
