This is the note I wrote down the day my mom gave me the most important advice of my life in 2000.
I asked her, "How do I find my fans? How do I elevate myself beyond the mediocre? How can I succeed when no one seems to care if I'm even here or not?"
She paused and said exactly these six words.
I've never let go of this. I've never forgotten how powerful it was and how meaningful it is.
Today is a GREAT day.
