For those of you who know me, you'll know I've been through a fair amount of heartache in life and faced some pretty tough times and challenges. From raising my children alone to having life saving surgery to repair my collapsing chest, moving on from a miscarriage and forgiving those who bullied me for my entire childhood. Like anybody I could deal with life in two ways, firstly I could sit and play the worlds smallest violin and cry into my teacup feeling like a failure and a victim of life or I can hold my head high, tighten my strings and make sweet music. And in my heart I know that what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, I'm not a victim I'm a survivor, I'm holding this violin not through defeat but for my accomplishments and to me it symbolises my success in life and refusal to give up. Motivation can be found in the strangest of places, and right here, right now this is mine.
