A #scarletmacaw takes flight from a nearby Beach Almond tree where it had been feeding. These exotic trees aren't native to #CostaRica but have become an important food source for these endangered birds. Spending time photographing them was truly a memorable experience and one I'll cherish. Photographed on the Osa Peninsula on a recent assignment with @lindbladexp & #NGExpeditions.
