All the weight I gained during my early 20's came down to poor lifestyle choices. I worked nights over the weekends which lead to terrible eating habits, lack of sleep and disinterest in any effective exercise routine. I basically did all the wrong things; I would starve myself for days and then completely binge. My metabolism must have been completely destroyed. I've always had an interest in a healthy lifestyle, but I had not found the right routine and that led me to yoyo dieting, binge eating and other bad habits. I had a really unhealthy relationship with food. The time I took the before photo (early 2013 after 6 weeks in Europe) which was my absolute lowest point, I knew I had to make changes - which I did. But nothing 'worked' the way that Kayla has. I've completed both guides and now I'm starting them again. It's part of my routine now, I don't see myself ever stopping these kinds of workouts. I've completely dropped at least 2 dress sizes. I remember getting to the point where I couldn't enjoy shopping anymore because I knew I would have trouble wearing the things I wanted to/used to buy. To be honest, I have not weighed myself at all since starting Kayla. I used to think weighing myself every day would motivate me to lose weight, but it was only detrimental to me acheiving my goals. I was too focused on the number on the scales that I would do stupid things, like not eat properly for 3 days so that I would lose a kilo fast.
