Will you believe me if I tell you you need 96 egg yolks for 1 kg of flour to make this old Polish Easter yeasted bundt cake?
What can I say, those Polish housewives from the end of XIX century must have been some crazy b*tches to bake pastries like this ;) First you beat egg yolks and sugar in a water bath, then you mix the final dough for one hour (God bless kitchen aid!). Two hours bulk fermentation and one hour proofing. Baked it little to dark and the bottom stick to the pan, but still... Tastes like cotton candy made of yolks, butter and vanilla. Absolutely worth second take tomorrow ;)
