Cool video of endangered #bighornsheep getting released into #Yosemite #NationalPark this week. In 2000, there were as few as 100 #SierraNevada bighorn sheep, but since then #conservation efforts have helped increase the number to over 600 sheep. The return of this long-absent wilderness icon to the heart of @yosemitenps will restore the alpine ecosystem and is the first time in more than 100 years that bighorn sheep are in the #CathedralRange.
