Super-rare albino tapir photographed in Brazil - "My heart skipped a beat when … the white tapir suddenly appeared in one of the frames," says photographer Luciano Candisani, who captured the world's first known image of an albino lowland tapir in the wild."
It is one of the results of a project to document the Elusive Atlantic Rain Forest animals in Legado das Águas-Reserva Votorantim, a huge Atlantic forest protected area in Sao Paulo State, Brazil where I am using camera traps in setups with a professional DLSR camera and a couple of strobes.
