When I originally designed our second bedroom, it was to become a nursery for my newborn baby. An immobile little thing with teeny tiny clothes. The room wasn't designed for a growing girl. Let alone two. I loved Mazzy's nursery but once Harlow moved in, the room became cluttered with toys, dress-up clothes, hair accessories, books, crafts, stuffed animals and a ridiculous amount of shoes— all with nowhere to go. We stuffed socks under the bed into tiny bins that drove me crazy. We dumped princess figurines into plastic boxes that remained open in the middle of the floor at all times. It was clear we had outgrown the space. But we weren't moving, so what should we do? PART ONE of Mazzy and Harlow's room redesign on the blog today ?
