Domestic Violence can happen to anyone. It happened to me. I only share a scratch on the surface to prove this point. DV is not prejudice to gender, to age, to social or educational status. My biggest mistake wasn't loving an abuser it was not loving me. Looking at these photos I still find myself angry at myself at times. Thinking , "Jessenia how could u have been so stupid!?!" But I remember the life I have now n the good I bring helping others & somehow im grateful bc it made me stronger.
