Here is another image from my story shot #onassignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック in #Crimea before the #Russian invasion, which started in full force about a year ago.
The Crimean Peninsula is known for a number of #cave towns and monasteries built over a thousand years ago. Under a full #moon, Father Agaphone, 34, stands on a rock outside the #Chelter-Marmara cave #monastery. Closed during #Soviet rule, the monasteries have since reopened.
