Photo: Mattias Klum @mattiasklumofficial I was on assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック in northern Thailand photographing a conservation story on the world's largest venomous snake, the King Cobra. In some villages they have a tradition of sparring against snakes as a way to impress the Gods and make money. The reptiles, of course, become very agitated and strike at anything that moves. During one "match" a King Cobra directed its attention towards me instead of her opponent.
