A morning or afternoon spent feeding, handling, and even kissing the stingrays (it's all safe) has become one of the top-rated activities in the Caymans, and numerous tour boat operations ferry visitors out to the sandbar throughout the day. Just as much fun as interacting with these beautiful creatures is watching them move alone through the water, the dancing light of the Caribbean creating kaleidoscopic patterns on their backs. Rays move more like birds than fish, fluttering their broad arms like wings, as if any moment they could leap out of the water and take flight.
