"Photographing Wu-Tang Clan was the single most chaotic day of my life. We were not sure if the shoot was going to happen until about an hour before they arrived. Originally we wanted to shoot them in a studio or on location but feared we would lose members in the transport, so we ended up doing the shoot in a relatively small room I’ve converted into a studio in the Warner Brothers Records offices. The group came straight to me after a press conference being held to announce ‘A Better Tomorrow.’ Wu-Tang entered our makeshift studio with at least 30 people behind them, filling the room to its capacity. #RZA walks straight to me: 'Look, it’s all about the Chi. You tell me what you want and I’ll translate.' He stayed by my side any time he wasn’t in the shot and directed the shoot with me."
