Urban farming. YES. I stopped by a "backyard farm" after my shoot yesterday. I'm so inspired by these people! I want to do this! My family and I have an incredible garden that my brother planted a few years ago, but it's not enough to feed the community and that is what I want to do. Not only are these people providing the community with fresh pesticide free produce, but they are CONNECTING with their community in the process. Neighbors, friends, local farmers all contribute to this one urban farm. Fresh produce, local honey, sprouted nuts, citrus and eggs from chickens living in their backyard just came home with me. I'm. So. Excited.
