Salah, 9, stands with his sister and cousin on the roof of what remains of their #Gaza home. The house was partially destroyed last summer in a blast that killed his father and uncle as they gathered their belongings. Six months after the ceasefire that ended 7 weeks of intense violence, children like Salah continue to recover from the trauma they experienced. The conflict killed 539 children, injured 2,956 and left many struggling with life-long disabilities.
