#TBT to 2013 when my memoir BANISHED was first published and made it onto the New York Times better sellers list. 📚 Prior to my fitness journey I had a very interesting upbringing and have worked really hard to overcome a lot of challenges in life – including losing my parents and 3 younger siblings to the most hated cult in the world. 😕 If you want to know more - simply google my name and you'll see me on CNN, 60 Minutes, 20/20, Piers Morgan, Katie Couric and many other shows and publications. I've spend the last few years speaking up against hate, doing public speaking engagements across the country and helping educate people about the dangers of extremist ideology.
