“I was hired to shoot backstage portraits at a tribute concert honoring Stevie Wonder last week. Stevie wanted a wide range of musicians honoring him to reflect the array of music he’s created in his career. As the show started #AnnieLennox was one of the first to come through for a portrait. She flipped through a milk crate filled with Stevie Wonder albums and picked ‘Hotter Than July’ to be in her photograph. Just after introducing myself to Annie she took a seat and landed perfectly. I shot a few frames and it was over before you knew it. My favorite part of the night was listening to the artists as they expressed their excitement at being part of this special evening.
